Every member of the Warwick Vet Clinic team, from veterinarians to support staff, are dedicated to providing the best in animal care and strive to uphold our reputation as a reliable and professional provider of family-friendly veterinarian services.
Lead by Dr Chris Reardon, all our veterinarians are members of the Australian Veterinary Association, taking an active role in the industry and keeping up-to-date with the latest techniques and information. All staff have a passion for the health and welfare of animals and we enjoy caring for our client’s animals as much as we enjoy looking after our own.
Chris graduated from University of Queensland in 1994 with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (Hons.) and a Bachelor of Science (Hons.) majoring in Physiology and Biochemistry. Following graduation, he started work at Warwick Vet Clinic gaining valuable experience from the previous partners Drs. Ken Wells and Graeme Garde who had collectively over 70 years’ experience in the practice.
In 2002, he completed his membership examination in Equine Medicine in the Australian College of Veterinary Scientists. Since May 2007, Chris has been actively involved in the Australian Veterinary Association (AVA) and was a director of the AVA National Board (2013-2019). He was awarded a Meritorious Service Award 2018 (QLD) in 2018 and a Fellow of the AVA (2019). A Graduate of Australian Institute of Company Directors, an Industry Fellow of the University of Queensland Vet School, he is presently enrolled in an MBA program at the University of Southern Queensland.
Elissa graduated from the University of Queensland in 2000 with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (Hons.) and has been a valuable member of the Warwick Vet Clinic team since.
Elissa has a keen interest in small animal medicine and surgery. She takes great satisfaction in diagnosing her patients and ensuring pet owners are fully informed about their pets' conditions.
By providing clear explanations, Elissa helps owners make confident, informed decisions regarding their pets' treatment plans.
Hannah graduated from James Cook University with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science and enjoys the general mixed animal and equine work in the practice.
Originally from North QLD, Hannah enjoys the community life, competing in Netball and Touch football clubs in Warwick.
Hannah’s interests are in medicine and surgery and she has recently undertaken a small animal surgery course to broaden her skills. Teamwork is also a passion for Hannah as she strives to exceed client’s expectation in service delivery.
In her spare time, Hannah enjoys the company of her two lovely dogs Chips and Pepper.
Caitlyn holds a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (Honors) from the University of Queensland and brings her expertise to the team at Warwick Vet Clinic.
With a passion for mixed animal practice, Caitlyn has a particular interest in cattle, horses, and small animal surgery. She thrives on working alongside producers, tackling complex cases, and managing on-farm emergencies with confidence and care.
Caitlyn is deeply committed to building strong relationships with her clients and delivering exceptional patient care. Her dedication extends to her love for working dogs—she shares her home with three delightful cattle dogs who hold a special place in her heart.
Emily graduated from the University of Queensland in 2021 with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (Honors).
She thrives on the variety and challenges of mixed animal practice, with interests in cattle, equine dentistry, and small animal surgery.
Outside of work, Emily enjoys spending time with her energetic Border Collie, Mabel. You’ll often find them exploring scenic trails or enjoying day trips to the dam together
Honor graduated from Bond University in 2016 with a Bachelor of Biomedical Science and earned her Bachelor of Veterinary Science from James Cook University in 2023 before joining the Warwick Veterinary team.
Originally from a cattle property north of Bollon, Honor brings her enthusiasm for the dynamic nature of mixed practice, with a particular focus on bovine and small animal medicine.
In her free time, she enjoys caring for her foster greyhound, staying active, and diving into a good book or several!
Tessa started with us whilst in her senior years at Assumption College as a school based trainee. She has an excellent understanding of how the business operates and is always happy to work to meet the expectations of our clients. She has completed her Cert IV Vet Nursing and is currently completing a Diploma in Practice Management.
Avril commenced in 2011 after being key personnel at Rodgers Creek Feedlot for many years. She has recently completed her Certificate IV in Vet Nursing and enjoys nursing small animal patients, especially with orthopedic issues or dermatology cases. At home Avril has a menagerie of animals with horses, chickens, cats and dogs to attend to around her work.
Brenda has been part of the Allora Clinic in her veterinary assistant role for many years and could probably attest to have ‘seen it all’. Brenda enjoys the company of staff, the variety of the practice life and the conversations she has with our loyal and treasured clients.
Nicole graduated from The University of Queensland in 2016 with a Bachelor of Sustainable Agriculture, specializing in Livestock and Poultry Science. After gaining valuable experience in the production animal industry, she joined the clinic in 2019 and went on to complete her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing.
Nicole is passionate about many aspects of veterinary nursing but has a particular love for small animal medicine and providing compassionate care to pets when they’re unwell.
Outside of work, Nicole is busy raising her children and managing a mixed grain and cattle property with her husband.
Sam, a Warwick local, began her journey in veterinary nursing at just 17, completing her Certificate II in Veterinary Nursing at our Grafton Street practice.
After gaining valuable experience working in veterinary clinics in Central Queensland, Sam returned to Warwick in 2023 with her two sons and rejoined our team.
Passionate about all animals, including wildlife, Sam has a menagerie at home that she lovingly cares for. While she enjoys all aspects of small animal medicine, she can often be found on farms, embracing the variety and challenges of working in a rural practice.
Carmen joined our practice in early 2022, bringing her deep passion for animals of all sizes. Growing up in a rural setting,
Carmen has always been drawn to both small and large animals, and she enjoys every aspect of vet nursing.
Outside of work, Carmen loves spending her free time with her family, as well as her horses and dogs, who are an important part of her life.
Dusty has spent her life surrounded by horses, cattle, and a variety of small animals, which has fostered a deep love and passion for caring for animals of all kinds.
After completing her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing in 2024, Dusty’s formal education further enhances her years of experience in the veterinary field. Dusty enjoys coming to work each day, as it not only allows her to build lasting relationships with her patients but also to connect with our valued clients.
Bridget joined our team as a Veterinary Nurse in 2023 and has since earned her Certificate II in Animal Studies. Having grown up surrounded by horses, dogs, and cats, she brings a lifelong passion for caring for animals in need. Bridget thrives in all areas of mixed practice, with a special interest in small animal anaesthetics.
Brooke joined our practice in early 2024 after completing her studies at the University of Southern Queensland.
Originally pursuing a career in human health, she discovered her passion for working with animals—both large and small—during her studies.
Growing up in the agriculture industry, Brooke is thrilled to combine her love for health and animals in her work.
In her role, Brooke thrives in the fast-paced clinical environment, offering dedicated service to clients through her nursing and administrative expertise.
